Service manual for Sachs rear shock
Has anyone found a service manual for the Sachs rear shock? I've looked online but have not found a download yet.
Thanks |
Try a Husky dealer maybe?????????

Yeah, a portion of my Husky 610 shop manual discusses the Sachs shock. I'm hoping to find an actual Sachs manual (like the Marzocchi) to add it to our site. I would be good for reference off our main page.

Sachs do very well at hiding their product information and themselves. Any idea how to find where they are in the world, or contact information for them. I can't find it on the web?????

Here is their corporate site. ZF Sachs is primarily focused on automotive, commercial vehicle, etc.. More recently, they entered the 2-wheel market. First with the rear shocks and this year with the front fork.

I have had mine a part, what do you want to know about them?

I don't need anything at the moment, thanks for asking.
My intent was to find the manual so we can add it to our list of manuals on the main page. Like you mentioned, finding info about their shock is difficult. Worst case, I will save a portion of my Husky manual (which shows the basic teardown procedure) and send it to Jeff for uploading here. It's not the best thing, but at least better than nothing. |
Good news!!!
The Sachs rear shock has been added to our list of manuals (link to our entire list): http://www.gasgasrider.org/html/manuals__etc.html Here is the direct link: http://www.gasgasrider.org/Sachs_Rear_Husky_610.pdf Note: this is a portion of the Husky TE/SM610 shop manual. This section discusses the teardown procedure for the Sachs rear shock. |
