Fork manuals

I have been riding GG's since 2006 and I love them but I get frustrated when you want to fix something on them like the forks that there is no manual that came with the bike or available online. Try to find a Sachs fork manual or even the Marzocchi's. I have the Ohlins TTX fork inserts and it is not easy to find info on these either. how are we supposed to set these up without info?

Here is what I use on my Ttx (along with Jakobi's help)

Shock- http://www.smartperformanceinc.com/o...txshockservice

Fork Cartridges- http://www.mx-tech.com/articles/File...rtridgekit.pdf

Marzocchi have manuals on their site too.

I've found ZERO sachs documentation/parts listings

I was doing a customers Sachs forks yesterday and if wasn't for Les's website I would have not been able to do it. Gas Gas should have them on the main website!

Where do I find a parts kit for what is needed to rebuild my shock and fork inserts? and where do I buy them from?

Your local suspension parts supplier.

Sachs forks accept 48mm KYB bushings and seals. I've used 09 CRF450R as a model. Can order OEM/after market.

All Ohlins gear needs to be sourced through an Ohlins dealer. If you'll be servicing the Ohlins gear you'll need access to nitrogen, and the needle valve setup to fill them again. Ohlins oil is super slippy as well!

Which shock? Ohlins as above. Sachs, you'll be able to source parts through suspension tuners, but most likely they will be using crossovers/modifying parts to work. Last Sachs shock I did for a Husky WR I had to modify to use an SKF seal head from a Beta as I couldn't source a seal for it. Other option was to machine out the stock seal head to accomodate a KYB seal.

I did get a kyb kit for the Sachs. But Ohlins in Canada seems to be non existent ever since the old distributor got bought out and they dropped Ohlins. Yamaha Canada is listed as a distributor so I will call them.
