radiator guards for '05 fse450

I have the '05fse450. I like the Flatland Racing radiator guards in combination with the Ltracing GP braces (upper and lower). After inquiring, Flatland R. replied stating their 2t guards won't work on the fse 4t's.
Do any of U '05 FSE owner's use this type of radiator guard. Is there even a guard made for our FSE's? I haven't found one yet. I can probly retrofit one tho. Any FSE riders using guards?

Try www.forceaccessories.com.au here in Australia. Just fitted a pair of their guards to my 05 450 fse, look and fit great. They send o/s and have pics on website, hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I sent them a pm. I'm concerned about a few things with these guards. They're very close to the rad fins and I'm concerned if the bike in front of me throws a rock at them that they would cave. Also they do state that they move air as well as the stock plastic louvers. I need some convincing on this. And it doesn't look like I could use the LTR rad braces with this guard either. They are very nice looking with the black anodizing. I'll wait for their reply. Thanks again

Here's a pic of the Force guard in gold, so you can see the details.

They have changed them to look more like the flatlands, so they now don't get close to the rads on the inside. I bought the red ones. They now have three gp type rods instead of two and they connect around downtube in back. Very nice.

Has anyone given the force accessories rad guards any serious beating yet? How do they hold up?

The CRD's I've been using didn't quite take the punishment I put them through.

The last time I road my '05 FSE I bit the dust 3 0r 4 really good ones. The third one I hit the front brake in some loose shale on a steep slope and did a superman over the bars and the bike landed on top of my heel and tore ligiments and tendons on top of foot and the arch itself. The fourth one I tumbled into a ravine and landed away from the bike. Since then, I've been riding my road bike and easier trails and forest roads.
So that day the bike and Force Rad Guards got a good workout. No damage! They fit really well and go on easy. They are tuff. Red or black. Get the new ones I mentioned. Take a look at GMP's Flatland Guard extra bracing he made. They would then be completely bullet proof.;)

Since there were no chance to get the Force guards shipped to Sweden in time before the enduro race this weekend, I made a set of radiator crash braces up. A local company had the plates watercut in aluminium, and a friend fixed the powdercoat.

The Force guards are great. I had a 4th gear swap out and the guards held up just fine.
