just took the whole thing apart.. swingarm, everything.. all the bearings look brand new and grease is still nice and bright blue.. going to repack and put back together tomorrow and see if there is still some knocking in there..
Im also seeing a bit of play on the bolt at the top of the shock.. it seems like it doesnt quite fit snug, just a bit loose.. is this normal? I dont see a bearing in there and the parts fiched doesnt show one..wondering if i can fab up some sort of bushing to hold it a bit more snug up there. thoughts? |

You can also just get the bearing numbers from the parts lists and head on down to the local industrial bearing shop.
I priced All-balls wheel bearing kits here in Australia at AU$55-60 a wheel but scored all 5 bearings for front and rear for about AU$60 instead from CBC. The All-balls kits do apparently come with seals as well but mine were fine. |
