The reason i put the 7.5 at 90mm is because when i originally bought the forks that is this viscosity and height i used. So i basically put everything back to original. The two teardowns after this i continued with the same. It was only when i started to get problems with lack of feeling and no adjustments that i tried a higher viscosity with a larger air gap.

I am in England, My opinion is the new rebound piston rings have made a definite improvement. If you have the same symptoms as i had ( lack of feel, bouncy, no difference on adjustments ) i would change the rebound piston rings. Please note that other factors could also cause this but untill you strip down you will not know. If all is in order in your forks I would replace the piston rings. And then i would be inclined to look at some of Klausens posts and mirror his shim stacks, although you need to know what you want your bike to do, there are many changes you can make but they may not suit you, or your riding style. If anything you are in the right place to ask for help, I am a mere novice and there are much more experienced people in this forum who can make better judjments. Hope you get sorted.
