Default ok one more question about your Gasser's

Thanks in advance for your info, I'm a vet A motocross guy on a RMZ 450 suzuki. I have some great trails near me and all my freinds are starting to run some local hare scrables which looks like fun. My main concern is switching from my rmz to a 300 GG and back again. I just rode a friends 08 ktm 250 exc and although I had no problem riding the KTM, when I got back on my rmz it felt completely different (the ktm felt like I was all over the front tire and on top of the bike) MX is what i mostly do and don't want to compromize my comfort on the mx bike. So my question??? Does the GG feel like the KTM or is it more like a jap bike?? Thanks

No. I have only ridden one 2005 KTM 250EXC and the feel is way different on the Gasser. Way more natural and way more comfortable. I think going from the Gasser will be way easier than the KTM.

The Gasser feels very similar to a KX, IMHO. I feel awkward when I hop on a KTM, but Hondas, Yamahas and Kawis all feel very natural. Never ridden a Suzuki.

Gas Gas ergos are similar to the big four. The peg to seat distance is a little less on my '03 EC300 than on my '08 YZ450. A taller seat would make up the difference.

I'd like to hear back to see if you agree that it feels right. To me, KTM's are much less planted.
