45mm zoke continued
I have recieved some information back from GG Spain in regards to the 2011 Marzocchi 45mm fork. These are the same exact fork design and build since 2006, only the shim stack has changed from year to year.
1) Stanchion tube surface treatment: Chromium coating 15 um plus a diamond like coating 2) Drop out thermal treatment: hardening, artifical aging finishing: "FN" anodiz. white gloss silver (thus you can't tell very well if it is coated, transparent 3) Outer tube finishing: "LA" anodiz. black gloss lower fork clamp torque 15nm Both the sachs and Marzocchi come with 7.5 weight oil 580cc of oil per leg on the 45mm marzocchi 618cc of oil per leg on the 48mm sachs. I hope this answers most of the questions out there, basically for the most part nothing has changed from Marzocchi's part in design from the 06 fork.
