I got a EC 250 2011. I want to repair my front fork (fork oil, fork seals etc). Wheer can I find a manual of the Sachs fork, so I could find all the infos?

Hahah! Good luck.

What would you like to know? Are they the Sachs with the adjustable preload or no?

Be CAREFUL with the rebound adjuster. Many have cross threaded them on reassembly, and replacements are non existant.

48mm KYB bushings and seals work a treat as far as consumables go.

Air gap 110-130mm.

Basic OC fork - just watch the rebound adjuster. My advice is to push it out of the cap once the cap is off the damping rod. On reassembly thread the adjuster into the damping rod. Then put the cap over the top and thread that down.

Work off viscosity.. Something in the range of say 20-24cSt@40 will do the job. Realistically the fluid is just another tuning variable, so pick one that works and stick with it.

An other question after a long time...The air gap is measured without the spring?

Yes, spring out, fork fully collapsed. Make sure you have cycled the damper rod and filled the gap between the inner and outer legs.
