washers on lower rear shock?
I pulled my suspension off to have it re-valved and serviced by Les at LTR. My question is. On the lower part of the rear shock mount which way do the dished washers face. I was thinking it is with the cup side toward the barrings is this correct?

Lineman, you are correct.
For future reference to other users... Here is a pic that I made previously. It's rough, but gets the point across. I like Eff's idea too but it looks like a butt. Dirty mind I guess.

You're worried about that looking like a butt with that avatar?
i actually saw that "A Style" sticker for the first time in the train station in Torino, Italy, in 2007. Rather amusing. blitz |

LMAO! No doubt you are the master of posting technical drawings! I thought it looked like a butt too, but hoped it got the point across.

When that zen moment fails, I try to hold the cupped washers in position and "wiggle" the clevis onto the washer's edge. If you're lucky, you can compress the washers as you slide the clevis into position. It's still a pain for me too.

I got another shock with a clevis that is not broken and tried to put it on with new orings as washers. I cant seem to get them on. shock goes on with either the orings or washers only in place.

The orings should seat somewhat inside the rear pivot, and the washers should go right over with little compression to make them fit, you may have a set of orings inside the pivot already?
