riding in roots
I have a race next week-end, single track with lots of rocks and roots. What should I do to my suspension to make it easier in that kind of trail? Less rebound and less compression?

Remember that changing it only makes sense if it was setup correctly for a different terrain. As you say softer than for sand or smooth hardpack.

I tend to run a little more rebound damping on rooty trails to keep from getting bounced all over the place.

Be realistic about how fast you'll be going ...
If its going to be an endless 1st 2nd gear crawler ... go full soft use all the suspension you got!! and like maniac said crank up the rebond a bit |
